Meeting security enables hosts to regulate attendee access levels—including the right to attend a particular meeting. Each host can control in-meeting rights, including audio, chat, or instant messages. Plus, meeting participants link in to MediaTone via an encrypted connection to protect against third-party intrusion or unauthorized capture.
The meeting security layer houses scaled switches and session managers. WebEx uses switching technology to avoid the risk of storing any meeting data on intermediate servers.

- VeriSign SSL technology, which uses 128-bit signed certificates to secure web sites by encrypting information and providing authentication

Site security with password and non-listing options.
At the outermost level, site security lets hosts select which privileges to assign to attendees. Each host can set passwords, access and login, and choose to list meetings publicly, or keep them unlisted for privacy.
Further protect your data by using a branded portal that contains a unique URL and setting company-wide security parameters, preferences, and other attributes. There’s no need to reconfigure firewalls. WebEx supports the most secure client environments by using standard ports—http on port 80 and https on port 443.
